Open Mic Picnic @ Hakasalmi Villa

Helsinki Poetry Connection ♥ Helsingin Sarjakuvafestivaalit

Lauantaina 3.9. Hakasalmen huvilan takapihan valloittaa Open Mic Picnic, jonka ohjelmisto sisältää klo 12-14 open mic klubin, dj-keikkaa ja vapaamuotoista pikniköintiä. Open Micissä kuvio on yksinkertainen: mikki on avoin kenen tahansa runoille, rap-lyriikoille, laululle tai vaikka performanssille. Mikkiin ilmoittautuminen tapahtuu suoraan paikanpäällä. Tapahtuman juontaa Roope Hattu.

Tapahtuma on osa Helsingin Sarjakuvafestivaaleja ja samalla juhlistetaan mm. Straight Outta Fiction -näyttelyä.

Helsinki Poetry Connection ♥ Helsinki Comics Festival

On Saturday, Sep 3 from 12 noon to 2 pm the idyllic backyard of the Hakasalmi Villa will be home to the Open Mic Picnic, a free afternoon event with live performances, DJ music, and relaxing picnic goodness. Anyone can take part in the open mic portion and read poetry, sing, rap, or perform whatever they like! Sign up to host Roope Hattu at the event if you'd like your voice to be heard.

The Hakasalmi Villa is a beautiful collection of small, historic houses nestled in the bustle of Finland's capital city. Services include a café and the Music! exhibition in the adjacent museum.

The Open Mic Picnic is organized by the Helsinki Poetry Connection as part of the Helsinki Comics Festival. The event also celebrates the new Straight Outta Fiction exhibition.
