Syyskauden ensimmäinen Poetry Jam
-klubi-ilta järjestetään torstaina 26.9. Cafe Mascotissa
(Neljäs Linja 2, 00530 Helsinki). Illan aikana esiintymässä
nähdään laulaja-lauluntekijä Petri Vähäsarja,
esikoisalbuminsa Meitä on monta julkaiseva Hertell &
Hertell -duo, rap-artisti Kääpiö, laulaja Eli Solana
sekä kovassa nosteessa oleva spoken word -artisti Illmari.
Illan levymusiikista vastaa dj Hermanni.
Kutsuvierasesiintyjien jälkeen on
tuttuun tapaan open mic -osuus, jonka aikana yleisö voi esittää
omia runojaan. Tilaisuuden juontaa Helsinki Poetry Connectionin
perustaja Harri Hertell yhdessä lavarunoilija Kasper
Salosen kanssa. Levymusiikki alkaa klo 19, illan live-ohjelma
klo 20. Tapahtuma on pääsymaksuton. Tervetuloa!

Poetry, rap and spoken word blend and meld at the Poetry Jam club
The acclaimed Poetry Jam club launches into its first event of the Fall
season on Thursday 26 August at Café Mascot (Neljäs Linja 2, 00530
Helsinki). The evening’s program is made up of lyrical music-making from
singer-songwriter Petri Vähäsarja and multitalented singer Eli Solana,
spoken word revelry from debut duo Hertell & Hertell, the lively
stylings of rap artist Kääpiö and the incomparable stage poetry of

As usual, following the performances of the night’s special guests is
the open mic portion of the festivities. During the open mic any and all
members of the audience so inclined may climb on stage to perform their
own original material. The event is hosted by Helsinki Poetry
Connection founder Harri Hertell together with stage poet Kasper
Salonen. The dj set begins at 7 pm, while the scheduled performers start
at 8 pm. The event is free of charge. Welcome, one and all!
